PRODUCT WARRANTY

Our Warranty to You

We warrant that our products:

  • Are free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period specified in the product description.
  • Are of acceptable quality for their type and use, fit for the purpose for which they are designed, and comply with our description and specifications.

LED products may have slight variations in colour temperature (Kelvin degrees) between manufacturing batches, with a tolerance of +/- 5%. Such variation is not a defect in the product.

How to raise a warranty claim for warranty service

You must:

  • Provide a copy of the purchase invoice from Eurotech Lighting.
  • Supply us with details of the fault and installation details, as listed in our claim request form found under eurotechlighting.co.nz/pages/return-request-form
  • Return the product to us for inspection.
  • Submit the claim to us within 30 days of discovering the defect. Claims submitted after this period may be rejected at our discretion.

Warranty claims must be sent to the our office at the reseller’s expense unless prior written approval has been obtained from us.

Warranty claims will not be accepted if products are installed without following the correct procedures detailed in the instruction manual and specification sheets. Installers must request these documents before installation if they are not received.

If products are found not to be faulty by us after review, a service charge will apply.

 

Our Obligation to You

At our discretion, we will:

  • Repair the product if repair is possible; or
  • Replace the product with an equivalent one; or
  • Refund the purchase price to you.

Details About Our Warranty

  • To be covered by our warranty: All LED products must remain fully accessible for retrieval in case of repair or maintenance.
  • Installation must be performed by qualified personnel following New Zealand/Australian electrical safety regulations.
  • LED dimming is only achievable with a certified dimmer. You must consult us before installing any dimming system otherwise the warranty will be void.
  • Ingress protection must have been maintained during the installation process.
  • High-pressure water hoses must not be used to clean the products.
  • Regular maintenance is required to ensure the longevity of lighting fixtures (noting that Light depreciation should be expected over the lifetime of all LED lamps and fittings).  This warranty does not apply if no maintenance has been performed.  Please refer to our maintenance manual for more information.

Exclusions from our warranty:

  • Products exposed to marine environments are not covered unless explicitly specified in the product documentation. Proper care and adherence to special instructions are required.
  • We will not be liable for any costs related to removal, reinstallation, or freight associated with product installations.
  • Any modification or alteration of the product not expressly authorised by us will void this warranty. This includes, but is not limited to, changes to the product’s electrical components, structural design, or intended use.

Transferability

·         This warranty is non-transferable and extends only to the original purchaser of the product. It does not extend to any subsequent owner or user of the product.

Warranty for Replacement Products

·         Products replaced under this warranty are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.

Limitation of Liability

·         Our maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the product. In no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the product.
